Terms & Conditions — Online Payments (Third-Party)
These terms apply to online payments made via third-party providers on Emtelaak’s platforms.
Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of third-party online payment services for bookings and transactions made through Emtelaak’s website, mobile applications, or other digital platforms. By using these payment services, you agree to comply with these terms, as well as the terms of the third-party payment provider.
Definitions
Third-Party Payment Provider: The external service provider facilitating online payments, specifically Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) companies and mobile applications such as VALUE, AMAN, FORSA, CONTACT, or similar Egyptian providers.
User/Customer: The individual or entity making a payment through the platform.
Transaction: The process of purchasing services or making payments through the third-party payment provider.
Payment Methods
Emtelaak accepts payments through the following methods, facilitated by third-party payment providers:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.).
- Digital Wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).
- Bank Transfers (where applicable).
- Other payment methods supported by the third-party provider.
Payment Process
- Selection: Choose your desired service or tour on the Emtelaak platform.
- Checkout: Proceed to the checkout page and select your preferred payment method.
- Redirection: You will be redirected to the third-party payment provider’s secure platform to complete the transaction.
- Confirmation: Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from Emtelaak and the payment provider.
Currency and Pricing
All transactions are processed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless otherwise stated. Prices displayed on the Emtelaak platform are inclusive of applicable taxes and fees, unless specified otherwise. Currency conversion fees may apply for international cards, as determined by the payment provider or your bank.
Security
Emtelaak does not store or process your payment details directly. All payment information is handled securely by the third-party payment provider. The third-party payment provider is responsible for ensuring compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and other relevant security protocols. Emtelaak is not liable for any breaches or unauthorized access to your payment information that occur on the third-party provider’s platform.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds are processed in accordance with Emtelaak’s Refund and Cancellation Policy. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the transaction. Processing times for refunds may vary depending on the third-party payment provider and your bank. Emtelaak is not responsible for delays in refund processing caused by the payment provider or financial institutions.
Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe there is an error in your transaction, please contact Emtelaak’s customer support team immediately. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication with Emtelaak may result in the suspension of your account or future bookings. Emtelaak reserves the right to dispute unjustified chargebacks and provide evidence to the payment provider or bank.
Liability
Emtelaak is not liable for any failures, errors, or delays in processing payments caused by the third-party payment provider. In the event of a failed transaction, Emtelaak will assist in resolving the issue but cannot guarantee the outcome, as it is dependent on the payment provider.
Privacy
Your payment information is subject to the privacy policies of both Emtelaak and the third-party payment provider. Emtelaak’s Data Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your personal data, while the payment provider’s privacy policy governs the use of your payment information.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from online payments will be resolved in accordance with Egyptian law.
Amendments
Emtelaak reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of the payment services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
